Research into Workflow Re-use and Discovery
The myGrid team, having experience in the development of a workflow editor and enactor, realised that a key challenge was the need for support scientists in the rapid assembly of workflows from disparate services, and their re-use in various scenarios.
Antoon Goderis examined the possible use of description logics to describe the content of workflows. This work led directly into the more general folksonomy based approach taken by myExperiment.
