Study of BLAST services from SOAPLAB and IBM Life sciences.

A biologist shouldn't mind substituting one of these BLAST services for the other, but how can we use metadata to work out that they are functionally equivalent, choose between them, and then ensure one will work in the place of the other within the workflow?
