WP6 Plan

1. Gateway Redesign
   • High priority.
   • Removal of existing code in Workbench into separate module, should be little effort, only a couple of days work.
   • More serious redesign to allow the use of subsets of myGrid should take 3+ weeks.
2. Active web proxy
   • Main focus of work.
   • See DesktopIntegrationOptions, more details to follow.
3. Fallout from changes to MyGridInformationRepository (NedimAlpdemir) and ProvenanceData (MarkGreenwood)
   • High priority
   • Very dependant on new MIR
   • 3+ weeks effort? Depends on new MIR design.
4. Talk to biologists
   • Intend to interview a small number of local biologists over the next 2 months with the aim to coordinate.
5. Links to TextExtraction
   • Depends on Sheffield (RobGaizauskas)
   • Various levels of possible integration, effort may vary:
     1. Use provenance logs after WF enactment to generate suggestions/recommendations. 1 week?
     2. Rendering/displaying/linking to suggestions/recommendations. 3+ weeks?
     3. Option in web proxy. A few days work, once we have a web proxy?

   • Medium priority.
   • Will take some time to

   • Not much work though. 1 Week.
     • Netbeans search.
     • Generic find 'x' - may depend on new info model/MIR

   • Medium priority - good work, but difficult.

   • Medium priority. Shouldn't be too hard?
   • Depends on myGrid security policy, and maybe MIR design
