How can I add or remove services from the services panel?

There are a few ways to add services to the service panel:

1. If you load a workflow with a service not currently on the list, it will be added to the service panel automatically along with any other services found in the same location

2. You can right-click on Available Processors and add a new service by selecting the particular type and supplying the address, or you can scavenge for new services at a specified web address

To remove services from the panel:

1. Right-click on the service directory and select Remove from tree

2. To prevent services from being loaded at startup, you can alter the configuration in the mygrid.properties file. This file is found in the conf directory within the unzipped Taverna bundle that you downloaded, or within your taverna home directory if you wish to specify specific user settings within a multi-user environment.

How can I customise the default services in the service panel?

The default list for WSDL, Soaplab, Biomart and Biomoby services are defined in the mygrid.properties file. The settings to change are:
