1. Integration Fest Overview.
General consensus was that the meeting was good and very productive. There was not enough time for the developers to sit and discuss at the end of the week due to the Industrial partners visit on Friday. The Fest was considered essential but expensive. The team became closer and respect of each other’s ability was achieved. It was agreed that the team we have is excellent. There should be a meeting similar to this every four months, excluding industrial partners.
Industrial partner’s feedback.
All industrial partners were very impressed, especially with the amount done in the time had. Glaxo Smith Kline will commit real time to the project. Epistemics are very keen to be involved.
MyGrid group feedback.
1.1 ACTION NS. Nick will send out an email calling for structured feedback on the meeting and a document will be produced regarding objectives and lessons learned.
Next Steps.
Workshop meeting should be arranged in early May.
Roadmaps need to be drawn up.
Angus leaves in October so this should be kept in mind with planning.
Phil Lord will be joining WP4 at end of April and will also be a partner in the architecture group.
1.2 ACTION NS. Send out roadmap template.
1.3 ACTION ALL. Review roadmap and consider metadata issues.
1.4 ACTION ALL. Review of functioning of architecture at the Fest.
1.5 ACTION ALL. Each WP must document what they did at the Fest (this is not a roadmap).
1.6 ACTION CAG. Ask group about views regarding writing article for Web Services and Grid Computing Workshop.
2. Other business.
Richard Cawley has installed CVS. Richard will set up 8 users (one for each WP) where two levels of access will apply. All WP’s will have access to all users for reading. Individual WP’s will have access to write and publish into own user only.
Meeting finished.
Next meeting: 22nd April 2002. Atlas 1.
