It simply allows you to define dependencies between TalismanActions within a TalismanTrigger, and uses an execution manager to run tasks in parallel where this is applicable. An example is the workflow TalismanLanguage file at http://www.ebi.ac.uk/collab/mygrid/service1/talisman/realpages/workflow.xml which contains the EMBOSS tutorial done in the TalismanLanguage
