Taverna 1.7.2 is largely a maintenance release. The key changes include:

* Enhancements to the Biomoby plugin - including code maintenance and support for http post services (synchronous/asynchronous)
* a fix for handling some non WS-I compliant arrays returned from RPC/Encoded webservices
* improvements to handing Alternative processors
* fixes to the Remote Execution and myExperiment plugins

There is also a new of the remote execution server.

The release of Taverna 1.7.2 is packaged as a complete bundle (so no extra downloading when first running), together with a standard installer for Windows. A self extracting zip file is also available for Windows users that do not have permissions to install applications. The Taverna 2 preview plugin has been removed, as Taverna 2.1 beta 2 is now available as a standalone application.
