Requirements
In order to install and run Taverna 2.0, please check that your machine satisfies Taverna’s requirements.
Downloading
The download mechanism for Windows has been changed from Taverna 1. Please consult the current download documentation.
Quick Guides
A quick guide is available for users who are used to Taverna 1.
There are short descriptions of how to run or create a Taverna 2.0 workflow.
Manual and Help files
The online help from within Taverna 2.0 is also available on the website; and also for download in PDF. A fuller manual will soon be available.
Migration of Taverna 1 workflows
Taverna 2.0 will translate and run most Taverna 1 workflows. However, if you have problems, please consult the migration document. Also, check if it is a known issue.

Differences betwen Taverna 1 and Taverna 2.0 workflows
The most obvious differences between Taverna 1 and Taverna 2.0 workflows are described in the Taverna 2 differences document.
Taverna 2.0 performance
Taverna 2.0 makes use of pipelining which leads to increased performance compared with Taverna 1.
