BioCatalogue

The BioCatalogue is the main deliverable of the Web Services for Life Sciences project. It will be a centralised registry of curated Life Science Web Services. It will provide an easy way for scientists to discover Web Services of interest, annotated with comprehensive descriptions to allow a better understanding and use of these resources.

Qiuwei Yu

Qiuwei was an MPhil student who had previously investigated the application of shopping metaphors to scientific resource discovery. His work influenced myExperiment and BioCatalogue. Yu investigated the publication of provenance outside of its originating context. He is now working in industry.
