PALs programme
As part of the OMII UK project, the myGrid team identified individuals who are able to act as promoters of OMII software and who can guide and advise the direction in which development of the infrastructure should take place. These people are termed a Project or Area Liaison (PAL).
The current PALs of myGrid are:
- Dr Marco Roos who carries out integrative bioinformatics research at the Faculty of Science
of the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. He is on the steering committee of BioAssist, a national bioinformatics support program lead by the Netherlands BioInformatics Centre (NBIC) - Dr Mark Wilkinson is an assistant professor at the University of British Columbia. He is leader of the MOBY project.
- Dr Matthew Pocock works in the School of Computer Science at the University of Newcastle.
- Ravi Madduri from Argonne National Labs who works with the myGrid team on the caGrid Project
