Adoption by caGrid

The myGrid team are currently working with on a joint project with caGrid. caGrid is part of a US-based initiative to facilitate cancer research. The project will allow Taverna workflows to include caGrid services that can be run on a computational and data grid.

In the past, myGrid and caGrid collaborated to develop and deploy a Taverna 1 GT4 processor as a based upon the 1.7.0 WSDL processor (since they have a lot of commonality).

The functionality of the Taverna 1 caGrid plugin was shown at a caGrid meeting in late 2008 where the associated poster won an outstanding poster award.

The installation and use of the caGrid plugin is described on the caGrid wiki.
