SHoundFirstOfRedundantGroupFromID Blueprint The Blueprint Initiative http://seqhound.blueprint.org/ http://seqhound.blueprint.org/ Entrez collection of databases contains redundant entries i.e. proteins with the same sequence but different annotations. The function gets a representative entry (generally the one with best annotation such as PDB, RefSeq or SwissProt entry) given a redundant group identifier. The redundant group identifiers can only be used temporarily, they change every day.
