Continued going through WP5 and 6 in DOW.
- Workflows are to be created using the data mining assistant. It is not clear where this application will sit, whether its a protege plugin, taverna or some stand alone application. The workflows generated will be converted into Taverna WFs, that will be executable, but may not look very nive inside taverna. One of the main questions here is after the assistant/planner has createed a workflow, do the users want to edit it? If so, in which tool, the plugin or Taverna? We beeive the editing will be done in the planner via dieract manipulation of the ontology.
Confusion about the word template, this is not a template in Taverna terminology. A template could simply be an example.
WP5.1 Ob 5.2 What is the WF repository? is this myexperiment or a seperate beast.
