Paolo, WHy should edit take place in taverna? Should be done in the IDA in keeping with the model.
Robert, need to start discussion on infra mailing list. Where does the semantic editing happen?
Paolo, given that the planner is brute force, so generates all the plans. Any viable edits will already have been computed by the planner.
Robert, Yes, but we don't really know about DM.
Robert, Not clear how we get the provenance from RM, whether it is pushed door pulled.
Paolo, need a description of the RM provenance
Alan, Generates logs, but the services also have monitors
Robert, what are we to do with the log file?
Alan, write a converter to taverna provenance
Paolo, requirements should be driven by the meta learning.
Robert, What tasks do we have in taverna, given the scenario. Put editing and provenance to one side
Alan, must have 2 new service types. DMWF one and one to call the RM WF. DMWF service need to be able to call the IDA.
Robert, is the IDA interface to be exposed in taverna? in some ugly style?
Alan, translation from DMWF to taverna (and possibly back). Place holder detector. Capability to get provenance back from RM (white box information from the blackbox).
Alan, we need to be able to talk to the IDA, with some input/output port
Robert, do we talk to the IDA or eProPlan?
