Tutorial: Creating a service discovery plugin

This tutorial will walk you through how to create a Taverna service discovery plugin. Also see other documentation on creating Taverna plugins.

We'll assume you've already followed the tutorial Tutorial - Service invocation plugin. If you are only interested in developing service discovery for existing activity types you'll only need to follow the tutorial up to and including step 2. Testing the service in Taverna, and possibly the beginning of step 3. Configuring the service instance to get a feeling about activity configuration.
