caGrid is part of caBIG (cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid) which is a US project to do eScience and bioinformatics in cancer research.

Contracted work

caGrid is the software backing services for caBIG, which is a big project run by the US National Cancer Institute.

NCI is funding us to help caGrid do integration of Taverna and http://www.cagrid.org/, so that Taverna can find and use (secured) caBIG services.

Additionally we will wrap a selection of typical non-caBIG services used by Taverna users so that they are annotated and confer to caBIGs Silver compatability level.
