I don't know if you're taking outside suggestions for projects, but one possibly desirable feature for Taverna we were discussing the other day is to have workflows include user-settable meta data in addition to the data. The specific thing that sparked this was a discussion of giving data providers credit for their work by citing it when the data is used (which actually applies to algorithm designers, module coders, etc.). So, it would be very helpful in a Taverna workflow to be able to pass citations for the data as meta-data along with the data flow, letting intervening modules add to it, so that at the end, you could see who needed to be cited for each result. Actually, I'm sure that citations are the least of the meta-data that could be added, but that's the one use that first came to mind.
