For other assets, when adding or removing favourites the gadget cached expires - via the FavouriteSweeper that is triggered when calling the add or delete FavouriteController method.
For some reason, this doesn't seem to happen for the Search Result items.

Need to run in production mode to test, and may need to switch on search (due to another problem).
After adding or removing the item, refresh the page and it will re-appear.
