David Withers

David Withers is a Taverna developer at the University of Manchester. He currently works on changing Taverna to use the OSGi classloader and separation framework.

David previously worked on the ONDEX project, where he has built a Taverna-friendly web service front-end of ONDEX and he built the prototype backend for myExperiment

David also worked on the Shared Genomics project where he built a RESTful web service for running Taverna workflows, this is based on the . David was involved with improving the data reference service in Taverna 2 to handle large data, in addition to completing the work for the Taverna platform.

David spent a year working with the BioMoby consortium.
