David De Roure

David De Roure is Professor of Computer Science in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at Southampton. He is a co-director of the South East Regional e‑Research Consortium.

Dave is a pioneer of the Semantic Grid and was involved in both the CombeChem and myGrid pilot projects and in the AKT and Equator Interdisciplinary Research Collaborationss.

He is chair of OMII-UK and Principle Investigator of myExperiment.
