Some of the core myGrid team
Structure
Carole Goble is in charge of the myGrid’s Taverna and BioCatalogue work. She also oversees myExperiment in collaboration with David De Roure.
Shoaib Sufi is the project manager for some of the myGrid projects at the University of Manchester.
Stephen Pettifer is in charge of the UTOPIA rich client work and advises on the user interface of Taverna.
Sean Bechhofer is advising on the team’s e-Labs work.
Helen Hulme is a bioinformatician helping to develop workflows for SNP discovery/annotation in next generation sequence data.
The core myGrid team can be divided into several groups:
- The myExperiment and BioCatalogue team of:
- The Taverna team who develop and Taverna and work on the related projects.
- Developers who work on e-Labs and related projects
- Stuart Owen on the SysMO-DB project
- Ian Dunlop on the ONDEX and Obesity e-Lab projects
- Christian Brenninkmeijer on the ONDEX project
- Matthew Gamble on research objects and trust.
